Kimberly Logan is a transportation operations executive, workforce advocate, and community leader whose journey through the transportation industry spans from frontline service to executive leadership. Her connection to transportation began early. While still in high school, Kimberly worked alongside her father in his trucking company, helping manage the responsibilities that come with operating a transportation business. At the time, she did not fully appreciate the significance of those experiences, but they would later become foundational in shaping her understanding of logistics, operations, and the vital role transportation plays in local economies.

Years later, during a difficult period in her life, transportation once again became a path forward. After earning her commercial driver’s license, Kimberly began driving school buses, transit buses, and motor coaches. Those experiences gave her a firsthand understanding of the essential work transportation professionals perform every day while also providing the stability that allowed her to rebuild her life. That perspective, from hardship to stability, continues to shape Kimberly’s leadership and her belief that transportation is more than infrastructure; it is a lifeline that connects people to work, healthcare, education, and opportunity.

Over time, Kimberly’s career expanded beyond driving into workforce development, operations leadership, and community engagement. As a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) representative, she became known for her initiative and commitment to serving the community. Rather than waiting for businesses or job seekers to come to her, Kimberly actively went out into the community, building relationships with employers, organizations, and leaders to ensure businesses understood the workforce resources available to them as well as making sure that individuals had access to training and career pathways. Today, Kimberly serves as Vice President of Operations for a national transportation provider, where she oversees fleet operations, service delivery, and operational strategy.

Kimberly’s path to New Mexico reflects both professional purpose and personal faith. After overcoming a life-changing battle with breast cancer, she felt called to pursue opportunities that would allow her to serve at a deeper level and contribute to meaningful change. Awhile doing research, she decided on New Mexico, packed her car, and drove cross-country. Guided by faith and a belief that leadership is ultimately an act of stewardship, Kimberly brings a perspective shaped by lived experience. She hails from the driver’s seat and now thrives in an executive leadership capacity. She is committed to strengthening transportation systems that communities rely on every day while also leading from a place of real-life understanding.
