I have served as the Transit Administrator for the City of Las Cruces’ RoadRUNNER Transit since January 2002. Prior to that I had worked in public transportation in for the City of Pullman WA for 16 years, home of Washington State University (Go Cougs!). I have been in the public transportation business since 1982 in a variety of roles including driver (both fixed route and paratransit), trainer, lead driver, operations supervisor and, now, transit administrator. I believe in the value of developing strong public transportation programs in New Mexico– not only for people with no other transportation options but also as a viable option for those who have transportation choices. I am currently on the NMTA board and have been on the board since 2011.

Prior to my transportation career, I was an archeologist. I received a BA in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and an MA in Anthropology from Washington State University. I have been married for 39 years and have two children, both who are married — a daughter who lives in Albuquerque and a son who lives in Roseville MN. When I’m not “doing transit” I enjoy working on my genealogy and spending time with my four grandkids.
