Nicholas Sofoul is a public transit executive with over 15 years of experience in transportation planning, operations, and system innovation. He currently serves as executive director of the North Central Regional Transit District in Northern New Mexico and previously held leadership roles at the North County Transit District in San Diego and Broward County Transit in Florida. Nick holds a master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University, is a certified planner (AICP), and is a graduate of the 2022 Leadership APTA program. He is an active leader in the public transportation industry and is recognized for advancing innovative, customer-focused, and equitable transit solutions.
